This selection of jewellery is based on the Burren in North West Co. Clare. Burren derives from Boireann which means rocky place. The Gold and Sterling of my jewellery compliments the natural rock of this limestone area.
The Burren guards many age old secrets and the most perplexing of these is the mystery that surrounds the flowers. Mediterranean, Arctic and Alpine flowers grow side by side in a seemingly bleak and bare rocky terrain.
In 1981 I was awarded First Prize in the Mid West Craft Competition for my range of jewellery designed to incorporate the beauty of this
natural Burren.
Every year since I have been adding new designs changeing old ones to keep the range fresh, to view the entire range call to my shop in Ballycasey.
