Have your Jewellery appraised for insurance purposes and the security of your stones checked.We wll also give you a full report on any worn or damaged claws.
Engraving
We offer free engraving on the inside of your wedding bands. We also offer a free wedding coin and before your big day we will polish your engagement ring free. We also provide a free wrapping service on all jewellery.
Aftercare
Here at Gleeson Goldsmiths we pride ourselves on our after care service as we make all our own diamond rings and wedding bands. We have a state of the art workshop so all repairs and resizing are carried out in house by our team of highly qualified goldsmiths. You can be reassured your precious jewellery will be treated with the greatest of care and attention and in very safe hands. We highly recommend that you bring your diamond ring back every couple of years to have the claws checked, this service usually can be carried out while you wait so you can leave reassured that everything is ok.
Vouchers
Here at Gleeson Goldsmiths we have our own in-house Gift Vouchers which all come nicely presented. Over the years they have always been a welcome gift. If you wish they can be ordered over the phone and posted directly to the recipient with a handmade card, for that personal message. Terms and conditions; there are none, they’ve got no expiry date, so they can be used at any time for the purchase of Jewellery, repairs and deposits.
Buyers Guide
Buying expensive jewellery while travelling is a risky business. From my experience, most diamond rings are purchased because of a perceived bargain. In a lot of jurisdictions there are little or no regulations, couples are given very much a hard sell and can’t wait to get home to have their purchase checked for authenticity. In my opinion, this is no way to purchase the ring of your dreams, your engagement ring is a once in lifetime purchase. With over 30 years making diamond rings my reputation is very important to me. This is known as the four C’s; the cut and polish is the only part that man has any influence on, if the stone is not well proportioned it will not reveal its full sparkle and this takes a trained eye.
