Sterling Silver Pendant Competition Winner

Congratulations to Sylvia the lucky winner of our email offer sign up competition. The competition was launched in February and the winner was picked at random on the 4th of April. The competition was a huge success and we want to thank everyone that entered.

Diamond Weighing 196 Carats Found at the Letseng Mine

Preliminary examinations indicated that the white rough diamond, mined on August 24 appears to be of top quality colour and clarity and is expected to set a high per carat price.

Gem Diamonds acquired the Letseng mine in 2006. Since then, the site has produced three of the 20 largest diamonds on record: the Lesotho Promise, a 603 carat diamond recovered in August 2006 that sold for $12.4 million; the Letseng Legacy, a 493 carat diamond mined in September 2007 that sold for $10.4 million; and the Light of Letseng, a 478 carat stone recovered in September 2008 that fetched $18.4 million when sold.

New Jewellery Designs

I have been working on new designs in Silver and Gold over last couple of months and I’m quite excited as they have just come back from the assay office and will be in the shop for Christmas. I have also added two new diamond rings to range which are very nice and will be very wearable.
